I’ve always heard that the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing something over and over that has a predictable result and somehow each time expecting a different result. Well, I guess then by definition all software developers are insane. I’ve always found myself writing programs, and I always think that it will work fine. However, that is seldom if at all correct. So considering that the predictable result is that somehow there will always be a problem, yet I always consistently expect a different result doesn’t that make me insane? Hrm, food for thought.
